Authorities, the European Commission and users of the service can reach us under the EU Digital Services Act at privacy@theopenngroup.com. We read and reply in English and Hindi.
Report illegal content
If you believe something stored in Openn Shield, such as a policy or a note a workspace has written, is illegal, email privacy@theopenngroup.com with:
- where it is, as exactly as you can;
- why you believe it is illegal;
- your name and email address, unless your report concerns child sexual abuse material, which you may send anonymously;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete.
We confirm that we received your report, look at it carefully and without undue delay, and tell you what we decided and how you can challenge it. Text people check with the scanner never reaches us, so we cannot see or act on it.
Copyright and trade mark complaints
If you believe something in Openn Shield uses your work or your mark without permission, email privacy@theopenngroup.com with:
- what the work or mark is, and that you own it or act for the owner;
- where it appears;
- your name, address and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not allowed by the owner or by the law, and that your notice is accurate.
We take down what we find to infringe, tell the workspace that put it there, and give them the chance to answer. A workspace that infringes repeatedly is closed.

Google, Cloudflare, Amazon Web Services, Cashfree, PayPal, GitHub, Slack, Stripe, OpenAI, Anthropic and the other product and company names on this site belong to their owners. We name them only to say what Shield works with or what its rules recognise. It does not mean they endorse us or are connected with us.
